Thanks to our proven expertise in production optimisation we are able to support and represent field management teams at every stage of the chemical selection and purchasing process. Our in-house laboratories employ bespoke technology to provide vital flow assurance data and sample analysis services to support our experienced team of chemical engineers.

OCTL Managing Director David Brankling is a Chartered Chemist and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He started the company in 1988, after 10 years in the oil industry gathering experience in areas including research and development, sales and marketing, and drilling chemistry. Many of the laboratory techniques that he has developed, such as filter-plugging for WAT measurements, and the spectroscopic evaluation of asphaltene precipitation, are now widely used in the industry.
